Tara Palansky

Through a healthier understanding of our patterns and past we will gain the ultimate goal of therapy: Unconditional self-acceptance.  I create a safe and respectful space for us to explore ways to reduce your suffering, while creating alignment and joy in yourself and your relationships.  I continue to be inspired by the work and the progress I see my clients make every day.  My goal is to empower my clients and provide them with the support and tools they need to move forward, feeling more insightful, intentional and fulfilled.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.  I am licensed in both Oregon (LMFT T1426) and in California (LMFT 49585).  While I am classically trained using a psycho-dynamic approach, I am an integrative counselor, which means I am practiced in weaving together multiple therapeutic interventions.  I bring the best tools to the table with us to capitalize on your strengths versus a "everyone fits the same box" approach.  The approach we choose together will always be proven to be effective in treating your particular concern or problem, and always done together.  My style is collaborative and engaged.  I will be asking a lot of questions to help best understand you, your past and where you are in the moment while creating a safe environment surrounded by trust and compassion.
