Become an Associate

The Hope Connection is more than just office space—it’s a place to belong.
We don’t simply rent rooms; we welcome practitioners into a collaborative, supportive community that reflects the heart of our practice. We believe meaningful therapeutic work isn’t meant to be done alone. Here, you’re part of a team—where connection, shared growth, and genuine support are woven into the work we do every day.

We provide a warm, welcoming environment for like-minded mental health professionals seeking private practice without the isolation or startup stress. Associates benefit from our established reputation, shared resources, and access to fully equipped offices in both Portland and Newberg.

Options (all contracts are 1-year):

  • Full-time Contract: $300 setup fee + $600/month

    • Full access to both locations 7 days a week.

    • With a variety of rooms to choose from—including dedicated Zoom rooms for Telehealth—you can build a practice that feels both flexible and connected within our collaborative team environment.

  • Part-time / Telehealth Hybrid Contract: $300 setup fee + $350/month

    • Access to one (1) full in-office day per week in either our Portland or Newberg locations.

    • This is a great option for those who value the flexibility of primarily seeing clients via Telehealth, while still having a dedicated in-person day to connect and collaborate with other mental health professionals.

We'd love to hear from you if you're seeking a collaborative space to grow your practice.

Clinical Supervision

At The Hope Connection, we offer clinical supervision for those seeking licensure as licensed professional counselors (LPCs), licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs), or registered play therapists (RPTs).

We approach supervision from a collaborative developmental lens and work together as mentors, coaches, and consultants. Our goal is to assist the clinician with increasing their therapeutic skills, awareness of knowledge, and desire to gain more insight into their field, ethical concerns, building up their professional self, and attending to self-care.  We provide individual and group supervision to allow clinicians to discuss in a one-to-one and group format, providing peer feedback and perspectives.  We also offer assistance with helping a clinician learn to build their own private practice or to take it to the next level.

Our supervisors continue to receive their own consultation, whether through individual supervision or peer consultation. We believe that learning doesn't end once a clinician is licensed, and we are aware of the importance of staying updated with training and other professionals in the mental health field to maintain an ethical and thriving career.

Student Internship Opportunity

The Hope Connection offers clinical internship opportunities for graduate students enrolled in master’s-level programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. As a CACREP-approved internship site, we support students in completing practicum and internship requirements in a collaborative, private practice setting.

During the 12-month internship, students gain hands-on experience in:

  • Building and managing a caseload (15+ clients/week)

  • Writing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes

  • Developing professional identity and marketing strategies

  • Balancing clinical work with personal well-being

Interns also provide low-fee counseling services to uninsured clients who need financial assistance.

Application Process

To apply, please email your resume and school site requirements to Shari Davison at Shari@HopeConnectionCounseling.com and briefly explain why you believe The Hope Connection is a good fit for your training and goals.

Holistic Practitioners

We’re currently expanding and working on opening a new space, with plans to create a warm, collaborative environment for integrative and body-based practitioners. We anticipate offering opportunities for massage therapists, reiki practitioners, acupuncturists, somatic practitioners and other wellness providers to utilize the space on a half- or full-day basis—whether you’re looking to grow an existing practice or begin offering services in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

If you’re interested in learning more or being considered for the space, please email below for additional details.
