Kat Kurtz, LMT
MASSAGE THERAPIST
Now accepting new clients!
Kat brings over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, combining Structural Bodywork with a holistic understanding of how the body's posture, fascia, and movement patterns influence overall health and well-being. A graduate of East-West College of Healing Arts and Portland State University, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Kat is passionate about helping clients move with greater ease and experience lasting relief.
Throughout her career, Kat has pursued advanced training in Biodynamic Massage and Integrated Structural Bodywork, expanding her practice beyond traditional massage to address the root causes of pain, tension, and dysfunction. She has worked alongside physical therapists and chiropractic physicians treating complex injuries, supported athletes in optimizing performance and recovery, and helped individuals reduce stress and restore balance in their daily lives.
Kat's approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply personalized. She believes every body has a unique story, and each session is tailored to meet the individual's goals—whether recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, improving mobility, or simply reconnecting with a greater sense of comfort and well-being.
Outside the treatment room, Kat enjoys spending time with her daughter and two dogs, as well as cycling, camping, hiking, and embracing the outdoors whenever she can.
I’d love to hear from you.
